2004 The Beginning
Following two decades of experience with multinational corporations (MNC's), the founder embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by associating with Blue Moon Foodstuff Trading LLC, Dubai, as Partner, laying the foundation for a professionally managed international procurement organization.
2006 Birth of Moon Shine
The business was rebranded in Dubai as Moon Shine General Trading LLC, specializing in Building & Construction Materials. During the Years 2007-2009 global recession, the company successfully supported customers and suppliers in stabilizing procurement and import operations.
2009 Expanding Horizons
Driven by the overwhelming trust and recommendations of its customers, established Moon Shine Building Material Trading LLC in Dubai, UAE, strengthening the Group's specialization in Building & Construction Materials while fostering long-term partnerships across the Middle East & Africa.
2011 Strategic Diversification
Expanded beyond sourcing and trading to provide strategic advisory services to selective UAE based manufacturers, distributors, and stockists, supporting their regional expansion, market development, stock point establishment, and supply chain optimization.
2014 Digital Vision
Committed to creating greater value for customers, conceptualized OPTIME Management — an integrated operational platform that combined multinational corporate expertise with entrepreneurial best practices to improve procurement efficiency and streamline business processes.
2018 Strengthening Our Foundation
To build a scalable and cost-efficient operational model while ensuring access to a larger pool of professionals, Pax Global Moon Shine (P) Limited was established in Vadodara, India, as a centralized process centre to strengthen support for customers across the Middle East, Africa and India.

Launched TradeALLY™, integrating technology, market intelligence, standardized processes and operational transparency across the procurement lifecycle. The platform continues to evolve through ongoing enhancements to meet the changing need of international procurment and global trade.

Moon Shine Group was founded by Mr. Sankar Nair, a Post Graduate in Commerce and an entrepreneur with more than two decades of professional experience gained while serving multinational organizations across India, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman and UAE, combined with over two decades of entrepreneurial experience in international trade and business development.
Recognizing the increasing demand for reliable Building & Construction Materials and the growing complexities associated with international procurement, he gradually transformed the business into a professionally managed procurement, sourcing and trade execution organization focused on delivering greater value, transparency, risk mitigation and execution support to customers.
His vision has always been to build an organization where technology, disciplined processes, market intelligence and long-term relationships work together to help customers achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness.
